DESCRIPTION:What is culture? We will get familiar with the diversity of northern culture\, by attending European capital of culture Oulu2026 programme.   \nThis course is ideal for teachers of the culture field or any teachers who would like to have new insights in using different expressive methods in their teaching.   \nWe will feel out the culture with all our senses. Come along to adventure the Northen Finland’s nature\, foods\, extraordinary artists and long-lasting summer nights! The course includes practical outdoor and indoor activities\, group teaching\, usage of apps to independently explore the history and culture of Oulu\, attending the events of choice depending on your interests.  \nThe course is designed to fullfill the quality standards and other criteria of a Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course for staff in the fields of Adult education\, Vocational education and training\, School education or Youth. \nMain aims\n\nImprove your understanding of culture by experiencing and attending lectures \nLearn new ways to use expressive methods in your teaching for example attending workshops and learning new skills  \nGet insights of northern culture by attending different events and visiting cultural sights in Oulu\, for example delta life \nGet new ideas in usage of digital applications in teaching and students independent learning \n\nThe Key Competences developed\n\nMultilingual competence \nPersonal\, social and learning to learn competence \nCitizenship competence \nCultural awareness and expression competence \nDigital competence\n\nTeachers\n \n  \nSanna Hankala and Emilia Hankala \nSanna is a Master of Education\, early childhood education. Sanna is working as a teacher of education subjects at the vocational education field in Kalajoki Chistian College\, Oulu campus. She specializes in arts and crafts. \nEmilia is studying to be a Bachelor of Culture and Arts at Oulu University of applied sciences\, this course is a part of her internship. \nPrices\nCourse fee \n\n480 €\n\nOulu has many hotels and restaurants for accommodation and food.
