Kotosuomessa – Finnish language and culture studies for adult immigrants

At the moment the course is full and we don’t accept new students. Next course starts in August 2023.

Kotosuomessa – Finnish language and culture studies for adult immigrants is full time course at Kalajoki Christian College. There are contact lessons and homework, altogether 20–25 hours per week. The education includes Finnish as a second language, environmental and social studies and other subjects as needed.

Fees

The course fee is 60 €/week (including classes, material and lunch). Course is free for the student, if it is accepted to be part of his/her integration plan. Students who don’t have an integration plan, may apply for a grant to cover the course fee; for more information contact the school office.

Applying

At the moment the course is full and we don’t accept new students. Next course starts in August 2023.

If you wish to start your studies in autumn, please apply by the end of July.  After we have received your application, we will send you an invitation for an interview and a language test. You may also apply in the middle of semester. In this case, please contact school for further information.
