Would you like to experience different kind of adventures, spend time and do sport activities in Finnish nature? Would you like to see light nights when the sun is shining almost all night? Would you like to use positive pedagogy in your teaching? In this course you will learn how nature-, outdoor- and ecopedagogy can be used in teaching children, youth and adults. You will learn the theory in a nutshell, but we focus mainly how it can be used in practice. You can experience how learning in the nature can be joyful and inspiring, no matter which field you are teaching. You will get to know how Finnish nature can be used for different activities for everyone and adapt it to your environment.

In Finnish schools we use practical and experiential learning which means that students explore a topic through various subjects and methods.  Learning outside the classroom can motivate students to study without realizing the process of learning. It can activate students to find their hidden opportunities to learn new skills and utilize them. It involves students to think out of the box and solve problems.

Please sign in for this course, if you enjoy many-sided sport activities and like to be outside (no matter whether it is shining or raining).

The course is designed to fullfill the quality standards and other criteria of a Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course for staff in the fields of Adult education, Vocational education and training, School education or Youth.
